A little about myself...
Hello, my name is Dave Fry. My family and I have lived in Benicia for the past 20 years, at which time I have coached various sports for both my son and my daughter. I grew up in Clayton and attended Clayton Valley High School in the mid to late 80's. As a freshman, I got a taste of water polo and never looked back. After graduation, I attended Long Beach State, where I played water polo for four years for a great coach and team. Fortunately for me, I was able to play beyond my college years for various teams.
During the 2015 and 2016 water polo seasons, I coached at St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School, as well as for the BASA water polo club. I am the head Men's Water Polo Coach at Benicia High School.
I look forward to teaching water polo to the young men and women of Solano County and beyond. The creation of the Solano County Water Polo club has been a long journey, and I am thrilled at the chance to mold these young water polo players into skillful players/strong adults both in and out of the pool. See you at the pool.
Coach Dave Fry
